Mama San, award winning Chef Will Meyrick’s Bali based restaurant along with The Melium Group, proudly announce the opening of Mama San Kuala Lumpur at Suria KLCC. The Mama San Kuala Lumpur will be the second international outpost after Mama San Hong Kong.
Being a street food enthusiast, Chef Meyrick manifests his in-depth research of traditional recipes and culinary heritage during his countless travels throughout Asia. From collecting spices and experiencing flavours and textures of Asian food including Chinese, Indonesian, Indian, Malay, Singaporean, Thai, Cambodian and Vietnamese cooking styles, Chef Meyrick marries these cooking styles that are now synonymous with his reputation – a street food chef.
The restaurant is the sixth venture under Will Meyrick’s helm, with the Bali based Mama San, Hujan Locale and Sarong – which was recently awarded by S. Pellegrino “The Best Restaurant in Indonesia” Awards and a placement in “Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants” Awards 2014.
